Thank you everyone for expressing a bit of interest in what I do! As this is the first one for a really long time, I feel like I've had to push a little more in than will usually be here. But, hopefully you find it all super interesting!Glitchmark and Me I'm involved in a cool little collective of designers, artists, programmers, and just generally clever creative people.

I spoke at the Digital Games Research Association Australia Symposium about what Glitchmark is. You can listen, or read it here on our new website.
I am making a month-long game art exhibition presented by Glitchmark - which is very exciting. Some big names in Melbourne games (Framed, Duet, Antichamber.. HEAPS MORE) have agreed to have their music showcased on opening night, and have our artists work on art inspired by their games! We're also hosting many special nights within the month. My next newsletter will have the full calendar.

I made a kind of film using Melbourne developer, Robert Jarvis' Vizzable software, to go along with a show I'm working on in partnership with the City of Melbourne (WOAH impressive and official sounding, right?) which will be showing in October.

I've been working with an awesome ensemble of musicians, dancers and artists, lately.
This show is is a collaboration between myself and musicians: Eli Simić-Prošić, Emile Frankel, Aaron Klein, dancers: Ellya Sam and Kyall Shanks, and digital artist: Stuart Gillespie-Cook.
The stage is transformed into a fully interactive space. All movement and all sound is transformed into beautiful and dynamic digital images, video, and lighting. BACKFIRE utilises some of the newest forms of interactive technology, allowing performers to improvise with each other and connect through realtime generated visual.
Coming up on the 19th and 20th of July as a part of the Festival of Leaps and Bounds

Cyber Lasso
I am involved in UK game developer, Alan Hazelden's Patreon series. I scored his June game, Cyber Lasso. It's a cool little puzzle game about being a space cowboy exploring an abandoned ship.

As usual, I am always looking for people to collaborate and work with, so if you want to get involved with anything I'm doing, or you think I might be keen on anything you're doing LET ME KNOW!
Thanks for reading,
Maize
